Dissonance Dissolved
It was necessary for me to dissolve the dissonance in my life, my history, my consciousness, for me to evolve into the human I wish to be. Things I could point at and blame for life's problems were not only unhealthy but also further empowered by my attention. To counteract that and take the power back, I decided to come up with a visual ritual which I call 'Dissonance Dissolved.'
First off, I wanted to use my intuition throughout this ritual like I'd never done before. I thought by doing so, the end result would turn out more sincere and closer to true authenticity. A lot of the steps outlined below were done by leaning on my intuition and letting my logical thoughts take a backseat, yet still come along for the ride.
Step one
I started by taking a thing, an idea, a group I thought to be bad and evil, and then imagined them as a person. I then visualized that person sitting in one of the most iconic positions known for healing - the lotus pose. Doing this visually signaled that they were open and ready for healing. Even if I created it, it still communicated to my brain and to the universe that they were open to changing their ways.
Step two
I then surrounded them with clippings from articles written about their negative actions or events. This step was important because it also included the harmful actions and destruction that may cause pain and reason for an unhealthy obsession, allowing it to also be cleansed, deactivated, and put on a shelf.
Step three
I then wrapped the figure and the cloud of their actions in a blanket of sacred geometry. This merged both of those entities into one and re-grounded them on earth and in humanity. Re-humanizing them was important for forgiveness. We, as humans, all mess up, and having patience with one another is not only a gift to give but also a blessing when received. It's also a great action to pay back into life.
Step four
Lastly, I marked this new composition with a marker known to run and drip, thinking the organic shapes produced would soften the structure of the geometry just below it. The tag on this thing that had never existed before gave me ownership of a thing I once let own me. It was now mine to put away and refocus my attention.
